 Re: The Return...
I didn't think the gossip was true, I guess it is.
WoW didn't have much content when it first came out either. Funcom has a smaterring of end-game content ready, they are just waiting for the right time to release it.
I am staying on AoC, I guess its time to look for a new home.
Have fun...doing the same things that made you bored of WoW in the first place.
EDIT:
Also, is this a mandatory thing, will there be a problem if someone chooses to stay with AoC?
Should I remove myself from the Guild group of the forums?
What happens to the city?
What happens with vent.
I know some guildies that played on Mug'Thol with you were saying in chat last night Fuck WoW and they were staying put.
Who is staying and who is going back to WoW, would like a roll call before I start apping to other guilds.
Are you rerolling to 70 again? I remember some of you saying you had sold your characters to fund a new computer, etc.

 Re: The Return...
I wish you the best of luck in aoc and i hope you enjoy that "smaterring end-game", talk to tasse in game for more info. He has or will have control of the guild and everything on it by today. Not sure but i think he is working on a merge with an allied guild under our name to keep the city going. If you need anymore questions answered talk to hempo in vent.

 Re: The Return...
So we are all transferring to Agents guild? What happens to the city? What if you guys decide you want to come back to AoC?

 Re: The Return...
I think the basic thought was that there were alot of people not logging in, myself included. Dont get me wrong, AoC is a great game, but there was just no drive for people to log on and play/level. It was stated that there were three tiers of raiding ready to go at launch. There is ONE, and I think that discouraged alot of the "hardcore" raiders. I really think that we should have atleast killed the other three bosses but whatever.
Alot of people want content and a perfect game when they buy it. That is never the case with any new MMO. I think everyone got their hopes up of it being something that will compete with WoW and if there was even one bug it was a terrible game. Perhaps when they add something that players can strive to achieve we will come flocking back saying WoW sucks balls, but until then, Level 7 Tauren Druid.
I believe that the agents were going to join us because we had a guild city that was pretty advanced. Im not sure were they are on theirs but I "belive" that was said.
This is NOT a mandatory move. You do what is most fun for you. If you still enjoy the game, by all means stay. The main reason that I am going back is that even if WoW is terrible, atleast I can have fun with the people I have been playing with for three years. We did Karazhan or whatever last night. I've done it atleast fifty times or more, but it was fun just because I did it with people I like. I didnt really get that feeling with AoC.
If you talk to Tassi (tasse?) im sure he can tell you all of the AoC details.

 Re: The Return...
I *might* think about it if you guys were still on good 'ole Bleeding Hollow - Alliance... I have 5 lvl70s there.
But rerolling from lvl1?!? Hell no.
I was contemplating coming back with the expansion, but with AB/AW destroyed & Bashers on another server AND faction... screw WoW.

It helps to look at it as a separate investment with a separate return. We all pretty much left our alliance investments behind when we took up AoC anwyay. At least that's how I see things. Looking forward to taking another swipe at the sunwell and then WOTLK

 Re: The Return...
I might be tempted to join you guys but I simply don't have the time to reroll yet another 70. I have 4 already, all alliance.

 Re: The Return...
Apparently the XP nerf was 20-60. And, its so obvious that its less XP from 20-21, then 19-20.

That was a big mistake lol! There's also the fact that the gear would be lightyears behind... but I guess with WotLK, it would probably even the playing fields like BC did (all the epics from original WoW was pretty much only good until 68 or so, then replaced by blues!) I'll think about it, and maybe casually level a friggin' Nth toon, and only start pumping serious time when the expansion comes out. How many Rogues do you guys have? I already went through leveling 3 of them (which tells you how much I love them), so maybe a 4th is in order lol!
